About Us

The Business Careers in Entertainment Association (BCEA) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which was formed to bring students together with entertainment industry professionals to successfully prepare students for careers in this field. Opportunities in the business side of the sports and entertainment industry have grown with time, and so has the BCEA. The premise of this organization can be described in the following statement:

"Our mission is to provide internships, job opportunities, career information, and hands-on experience to undergraduate students interested in the business end of the entertainment industry."

Each BCEA chapter is composed of eight different committees, which are each dedicated to pursuing our mission statement towards a different area of the entertainment industry. The committees include: SPORTS, MUSIC, FILM, TELEVISION, PUBLISHING, RADIO, GAMING, and PERFORMING ARTS.

Campus events may include seminars, workshops, tours, community service projects, mixers, career fairs, contests, and student-run companies such as record labels, publishing companies, and promotion companies.

The Business Careers in Entertainment Association is just what the name implies – We are here to become a resource for college students who are interested in exploring a career in the entertainment industry.
